With this collection, I question fears, not only mine, with which I myself have struggled or fought, but also those of my immediate society. We are inundated every day with news or stories showing the fates that are incomprehensible, that trigger fear, even behind the screens. But there are also fears that not everyone can understand, situations that do not take place in a war, not where natural disasters happen, yet they are justified. It is the war that one is waging against oneself and sometimes they feel like natural disasters and sometimes the ground is torn away under one. It is the fear of panic attacks. These fears happen hidden, are overplayed to be discovered out of shame.
It is the fear of a 13-year-old girl or boy who wants to get to know each other and despite our enlightened world, afraid to get caught.
It is the fear of not being enough and thus running away from any kind of relationship.
It's the fear of yourself - to cover that you can also have dark fassets.
